The Opportunity:
Reporting to our Associate Director of Influencer, the Influencer Manager, Content + Partnerships at Caraway will lead our organic product seeding and UGC initiatives in close partnership with our Paid Social team. You’ll own strategy and execution for driving high-quality influencer relationships, securing authentic user-generated content, and scaling our seeding program to amplify brand reach and engagement across channels.
Sitting on the Influencer team and partnering closely with the Paid Social team, you’ll craft and implement programs that generate a steady pipeline of UGC to fuel organic and paid campaigns. You’ll find creative ways to build lasting relationships with creators of all sizes — ensuring Caraway stays top-of-mind with loyal and new audiences alike.
Who You Are:
You’re a creative relationship builder with a solid foundation in influencer marketing, ideally for a DTC or consumer brand. You understand how to source, pitch, and negotiate with influencers, and you’re excited to help shape how Caraway shows up online through authentic creator voices.You thrive in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple campaigns and partners at once. You’re detail-oriented, love a good spreadsheet, and can seamlessly toggle between relationship-building and performance reporting.
You’re proactive, collaborative, and always bring ideas to the table to grow programs, solve roadblocks, and elevate Caraway’s presence. Above all, you care about thoughtful, non-toxic products that make people’s homes better — and you can’t wait to help tell that story at scale.
Responsibilities:
Product Seeding Program Management
- Own the influencer seeding program from start to finish, crafting a strategy to achieve our top-of-the-marketing-funnel brand awareness goals (ex. Impressions, EMV, organic SOV,etc) and increase Caraway’s organic presence on social media.
- Partner with our Brand Marketing + Community teams to scale seeding program
- Manage virtual assistants to ensure each is hitting their designated monthly goals and executing at a high level. Proactively work to remove roadblocks + field questions to guarantee that the program will meet monthly KPI targets.
- Identify + execute campaign opportunities to help boost brand awareness across product categories and creator niches (ex. product launches, influencers from trending reality TV shows, Mother’s Day gifting, etc).
- Gather + place product orders related to the seeding program
- Analyze the impact of seeding efforts using metrics such as impressions, revenue, EMV, etc to determine areas of opportunity + optimization
- Streamline the seeding process through automation and improved workflows.
- Review incoming seeding content and flag notable content for the Paid/Organic Social teams to leverage
- Leverage influencer platforms (such as StoryClash, Archive, and ShopMy) to scale the seeding program.
- Own driving Caraway’s seeding program to be best-in-class through innovation, automation, and relationship building to help us achieve stronger brand awareness, grow our community, and meet program objectives.
Paid UGC Management:
- Own management of Paid UGC Creator Program, collaborating with the Paid Social team to innovate, A/B test, and optimize our UGC to achieve our bottom-of-the-marketing-funnel performance goals (ex. direct response ad performance, CTR, CAC, ROAS, Thumbstop, etc.)
- Prospect, contract, and onboard influencers while managing all communication touchpoints.
- Prospect, negotiate, contract, and onboard creators for Paid UGC campaigns; own creator communication touchpoints end-to-end. Display top-tier negotiation tactics + professional communication throughout the process.
- Manage creator budgets, contracts, and invoicing, ensuring timely submissions to the Billing team.
- Partner with Paid Social team to co-develop UGC test briefs and themes, align on creator selections, and drive performance-focused creative output.
- Review and provide feedback on UGC, ensuring it adheres to Caraway’s brand guidelines and campaign briefs, to deliver final assets to Paid Social team for launching ads.
- Continually refine Paid UGC tactics through test, learn, and iterate cycles to improve CTR, CAC, ROAS, and Thumbstop rates.
- Proactively analyze paid performance data to uncover actionable insights and strategic opportunities that optimize the effectiveness of our program and partnerships [such as testing new creator categories, reducing acquisition costs,etc].
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3+ years experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of UGC trends, social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) to inform both execution + management of Paid UGC Creator Program
- Experience using influencer manager platforms such as StoryClash, Archive, Grin, Aspire, ShopMy, etc
- Proven track record managing creator relationships and seeding programs at scale.
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship-builder.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to pull insights and optimize programs.
- Passion for Caraway’s mission and commitment to sustainability and thoughtful design.
- Bonus: Experience/Understanding of Paid Social Marketing
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 - Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
